New Year’s Day: Mud, Dogs, and Wood.

Happy New Year! I am currently sitting with a hot cup of peppermint tea, legs stretched out, and watching Mary Poppins. Life just does not get much better than this.

As is compulsory for all British citizens on New Year’s Day, my family and I braved the weather (although today it is admittedly a lovely day) and went for a stroll. In keeping with my Resolution to try and post every day, I took a few snaps of wood, mud, trees and the like.

Today we headed off to Hemsted Forest, a short drive from my house, and a family favourite at this time of year. If any of you live in the Cranbrook or Tunbridge Wells area I would strongly recommend Hemsted- just make sure you wear wellies as it can get very muddy when off the main path!

I converted this one to black and white to hide a rather horrible blue tinge- sadly it looks a little too much like a horror film now!

Once again I seem to have written a blog post about nothing much in particular. This will be rectified.
